Cinnamon Stick Tea


  • Place 1.5 cups water into pot or glass kettle

  • Add 1 cinnamon stick

  • Bring the water to a slow boil in a pan or stove top kettle

  • Set the heat setting to medium low so it boils slowly for 15-25 minutes

  • When the water starts bubbling remove from heat and let it steep/red for 15 minutes

  • As the water cools you will see the cinnamon start to go from the pale yellow color to a lovely golden red color

  • Strain the tea through a very fine strainer

  • Reheat before serving
