Cinnamon Stick Whiskey Sour

Simple and delicious. The perfect bonfire cocktail . . . 

  1. In a small saucepan make the syrup; bring 1/4 cup water, 1/4 cup sugar and 5

    cinnamon sticks to a boil over high heat. Wait for sugar to dissolve and then remove from heat. Let sit for 30 minutes 

  2. Remove cinnamon sticks from syrup, combine bourbon, splash of lemon juice any syrup in a shaker with ice. Shake handsomely

  3. Strain into a glass filled with ice and garnish with a cinnamon sticks.
